So now what?

Well done! You have now successfully submitted an app to Hack Club Folktale! That or you're reading ahead. If so, hi!

So where do you go from here?

Continuing with Python

This guide only taught the bare minimum amount of Python to get your game done. If you're wanting to learn more, I can recommend w3schools to learn more Python syntax.

You'll probably also want to set up a local version of a code editor. You can download Visual Studio Code for your desktop, I would recommend that. To set it up with Hackatime, check out its documentation here.

However, tutorials will only get you so far. The best way to learn coding is by doing, and my (totally definitely unbiased) opinion is that Hack Club is the best place to be building projects.

Hack Club Programs

hackclub.com/programs has a ton more programs just like this one. Most of them aren't quite as novice friendly, but you're also not quite a novice anymore!

There's usually one or two flagship with more general prizes, and a bunch more focused programs that teach you something specific. Up to you which one you do, maybe a mix of the flagships and specific programs whose topics you're interested in.

Also, Hack Club Slack! One of the strongest predictors of having amazing experiences in Hack Club is making a friend. Go into channels for the things you're interested in (trust me, you'll find one), just start chatting.

Hack Club is a magical place. Enjoy yourself.

Happy Hacking!
